Choose the right 2-flute solid carbide straight endmill for your specific woodworking project.

Consider factors like the material (wood or MDF), the desired finish, and the depth and width

of the cuts you need to make. The endmill should have sharp, clean-cutting edges and be suitable

for use with wood and MDF.

Secure the wood or MDF piece firmly on your worktable or workbench using clamps. Ensure that it

is stable and won’t move during machining. You may also want to add sacrificial boards underneath

your workpiece to prevent tear-out on the bottom side.

Set Up Your CNC Machine

If you are using a CNC router, you’ll need to set up your machine:

Insert the chosen 2-flute solid carbide straight endmill into the machine’s collet or chuck. Make

sure it’s securely tightened.

Load your CNC program, which specifies the toolpaths and cutting parameters for your project.
